Where is this 12 digit number on my caller ID from?

I keep getting phone calls from this number: 967712443329. When I answer the phone the person just hangs up. When I try to call back, the operator says my call cannot be completed as dialed. It's giving me the creeps. How can I find out where this number is from?

Most likely someone is spoofing caller id on you.

Just don't answer the phone or let it go to voicemail.

There is a report here http://www.everycall.us/number/967712443... that this number has been associated with scams.  I'd suggest not answering these calls as others have suggested.

That is indeed a strange number. Perhaps its an international call. Maybe some kid making a prank. When I was a kid, I found out how to dial Japan. I made up a random number and actually got through to someone.  They answered the phone "Mushi Mushi". I thought it was hilarious and called back again. This was about 15 years ago though.

If the first 3 numbers are the country code, then 967 is Yemen ( http://www.countrycallingcodes.com/Rever... )

Probably another country, don't answer it because it will be some kind of scam

If it is freaking you out, tell your phone company you want to block the number.
