I had a bad case of mono at the beginning of the month but the symptoms have basically all dissappeared in 2 weeks. i took various medications for the mono when i felt the worst, but now i have been completely off any medication the past 5 days or so and i am showing no other symptoms of mono, but ive developed a rash. Basically my entire body is itchy but my hands, arms, legs, and feet are the worst. little red bumps appear in the targer areas but they are not very noticeable. where is this rash coming from and what can i do about it..ive already had it for days.

  1. It could be any number of things.  If the rash is on the tops of your feet, hands, elbos, and knees then it could be dermatitis herpetiformis.  Which is a sign of Celiac Disease and could have been triggered by you having mono (it happened to me).  Go see a dermatologist so they can correctly identify what it is.

  2. There is a slight possibility that you could have developed eczema.A condition where you get skin rashes where there are small red bumps.I have the skin rash and i have a medicine prescribed by a dermatologist called Hydrocortizone and it works.I recommend going to a dermatologist.
