That is easy......Claim Jumper in Scottsdale, Arizona. Fantastic food and they give you so much you have to take the rest home with you. They have a Mile High Chocolate cake that will knock you out. They also have some of their items in the grocery stores....

I have a couple faves:

Texas Roadhouse, there are some across the country.  Check it out if you like BBQ Ribs, theirs are the absolute best!! They have a website.

Another fave is Kazama Sushi.  Mmmmm!!  This man is amazing, he is a culinary artist.  He is in Pomona/Claremont area in California.  Look him up if you are in the area and like sushi.  You'll love his.  Nothing compares. I visit him everytime I visit Cali. Use the white pages to find him.  No website yet, as far as I know.

My fave family joint is Streets of New York Pizza.  I know there are several in the Phoenix Metro Area, so there may be some in other states as well, not in CA though, I've looked! They also have a website.

I'd have to say the American Cafe.  They have great southern egg rolls and the best pot pie crust EVER.

i almost never go out because i don't have much money...but if that weren't an issue, i'd probably say the olive garden. i love italian food, & their salad & breadsticks are fab! :-)

There's a little restaurant about 35 miles from me that serves the best home-style meals in generous portions called Jerry's.  It has most of my favorite foods like pasta, shrimp, creamed turkey over biscuits, chef salad, meatloaf, and awesome pie.

For chains/franchises:

For family restaurants I love Cracker Barrel and Eat n Park.  

For fast food I love Little Caesar's

For cafes I love the Starbucks/Cheesecake Factory combo.
