Where is your favorite city in the US?

I'm looking to move and would like to know peoples thoughts on where their favorite place to live is. I'm looking for a city. Why is it your favorite, what night life like, whats career opportunity like and cost of living.

Amazingly enough, Las Vegas, Baby!  Not only is it a party a minute town, but there are more parks and opportunities for family there than almost any other city I have ever seen.  The schools are wonderful, there are churches everywhere, and a good transportation hub.  Jobs are plentiful for anyone that wishes to work hard and advance.  There is a crime problem in parts of Las Vegas, however and that should be taken into consideration.  Property has gone through the roof, but you can still live in Las Vegas affordably, and so much goods and services are centered there other prices may compensate for that.  In addition, Las Vegas has the freshest sea food in the U. S. over all....that is right.....FRESH SEAFOOD in the desert.

Minneapolis, Minnesota or Rapid City, South Dakota. Both have midwestern, small town atmospheres, the people are really friendly, and they're beautiful places to live.
