I've tried Sonny's, Dreamland, Slope's, and Williamson Bros. Are there any MUST try BBQ places around that you'd want to suggest?

  1. My family has always loved "Harold's" barbecue in Lakewood Heights. The best Brunswick Stew and the best barbecue sandwiches!

  2. I like chains but some of the BBQ is small local ones.  Depending how far you are willing to drive- there are several North of Atlanta.  Bailey's BBQ in Ringgold, Georgia is fantastic and John's BBQ in Dalton, Georgia is great too.  My family loves both.

  3. Anderson’s Old-Fashion Bar-B-Q

    65 Willis Mill Road Southwest

    Atlanta, Georgia 30311-1723

    404-696-8144

PBS Broadcasted them as the Best in Atlanta

google them when you get a chance.

  4. Those are all good.

My favorite is Dusty’s BBQ. It’s North Carolina style.

The best actual pork is at Daddy D’z, it’s more of a KC or Texas style.

Swallow at the Hollow is also very good.

If you’re looking for a quick lunch, Shane’s is really quite good. There’s lots of them around Atlanta.

  5. Fat Matt's. Its great! Yummay!!!

  6. Rolling Bones, near the MLK Memorial.

  7. Fat Matt's Rib Shack

    Maddy's Ribs

    Spiced Right Ribhouse

    Harolds
