Where is your favorite place to vacation?

I like renting a cottage at Cape Cod, where you can visit the "traditional" beach on the Atlantic side or explore the bay at low tide, walking about a half mile in knee-deep water. The seafood is great, duh, there are interesting shops in some towns, plenty of bike and canoe rentals, and the pace is very, very slow. I relax there, completely.
