  1. Alta, Snowbird, Jackson Hole.

Heavenly, Alpine Meadows, Mad River Glen.

    Mammoth (if nobody went there).

I haven't skied Taos or Telluride yet...those might be good places.

  2. BRECKENRIDGE OR WINTERPARK

  3. Vail, Co

  4. Beaver Creek Colorado, the most upscale resort in the US

St. Anton and Lech in Austria

  5. Jackson Hole, Grand Targhee, Alta, Snowbasin, Portillo, Big Sky/Moonlight

  6. BRECKENRIDGE   undoubtably the best resort in the world

  7. My favorite resort is definantly The Canyons in Park City, Utah. It is really an under-rated resort. Most people go to Park City or Deer Valley, but The Canyons is mostly uncrowded and has great snow. It is also much cheaper that both of the others.

  8. Steamboat Springs, CO

  9. 3 valleys

  10. Steamboat, Colorado

  11. I have been all over the country skiing, and two resorts stand out to me.  One is simply a freak of nature, and that mountain is called Jackson Hole.  If you want steeps, deeps, rock drops, cliffs, coulairs, chutes, trees, and pretty much anything extreme, go to Jackson.  This is the only resort where I have ever experienced any kind of Vertigo...and that was on the lift!  This place is truly amazing...but very isolated.  Check out this link, it is a video clip of Jamie Pierre hucking a 255 foot cliff-drop in the Targhee backcountry, which is adjacent to Jackson Hole.  He holds the world record for highest cliff drop by a skiier or boarder, and his launching point is now known as Pierre Point.  Notice that he lands directly on his head.

My other favorite is a little less well-known outside of the Colorado locals.  Winter Park ski resort is my all time favorite.  It has a great mountain for family and beginner skiing...my nieces love to go there to ski, and they are just learning, they really cater to the beginners here, with a great ski school.  Then for crazy idiots like me, the Mary Jane side has some of the best bumps, chutes, trees and glades that you can find.  If you want to get crazy ask a local how to find Tophers Trees...you will understand when you get back there (dont go alone, and dont go if you cant handle tight trees and deep pow.)  You can also take a 30 minute hike from the top to acess some really good backcountry type terrain (this area is called Vasquez Cirque.)  The only complaint that people have about WP is the nightlife...its pretty non-existent.  But then again you are there to ski, right?

  12. Red River, NM

  13. Jackson Hole, WY

  14. La Plagne in France.
