Where is your favourite holiday/vacation destination?

I just came back from Sri Lanka, and visited Dubai on the way home.

Dubai is a place quite different from most other arab States, but Sri Lanka has both beauty and beautiful people.

Beautiful on the inside... not prancing about in hi heels beauty.

The Indian Ocean is a constant 79 degrees and the weather is around 82 degrees all year around.

Being a tropical island means that flowers blossoms and fruit are displayed 12 months a year.

I fed and stroked an 87 year old elephant on the orphanage at Pinnawella and seeing so many happy elephants was so calming and somehow reassuring that all is well with the world as long as people care as they do out there.

The royal Botanical Gardens are something else.

First time I had been on a suspension bridge, pictured huge flying bats and asked to be pictured alongside several Buddhist monks was something special too.

They took our picture... beautiful memories.

Lobsters prawns steaks to die for, and at a fraction of Western prices.

My daughter got married in Hawaii, so we made it a holiday as well, its beautifull l very offten think about it. there are a number of islands to choose from....Jeff

North Carolina,Georgia and South Carolina.....the most beautiful places I have visited,beautiful scenery.

I LOVE Colorado, and would enjoy going there again. The mountains are awesome to look at, and there are many sites to see. I rarely have an opportunity to vacation, so this would be my choice.

Sorry about all the Thumbs downs! I will thumbs up all, as everybody has a right to their opinion, especially something like a holiday/vacation!

a cruise to saint maarten(beauty) or jamaica.. (caribbean- so i could escape with nature surrounding me) = relaxation

Hi

I'm from the North of England where it is presently freezing cold, snowy and windy. I would like to be back in the Florida Keys or St Pete's Beach. The Great Barrier reef is also fantastic but so expensive to get there.

We live on a lake, and 10 miles from the Atlantic ocean...No NEED to go anywhere!

I have two: Paris at night (not too late, because then the burlesque lot start prancing around) and Morocco because a couple of my relatives live near the beach and I get to stay there and swim about for weeks!

I'm from England and the weather is rubbish, its been snowing! isn't it supposed to be spring.. but i went to Jamaica a few weeks ago for my brothers wedding it was beautiful ,great weather, lovely happy people and just a great relaxed and happy atmosphere! would definately go again one day.
