  1. It might be of some interest for you to do some research into physicalism or philosophy of mind

  2. Mind and Body are synonymous.

Our brain is the part that processes information in a sequential manner (left hemisphere) and in a global manner (right hemisphere) With your brain you calculate and perceive.

Our heart is the part that sends nutrients through blood (left heart) and receives wastes from cells (right heart).

With your heart you love (give) and guide (gather).

Our Genitals are the parts that allow reproduction in a active manner (testicles and p***s) and in a passive manner (v****a and womb)

With your genitals you penetrate (demand and teach) or you enclose (obey and learn).

Calculating & percieving belong to Reason

Loving & guiding belong to Intellect

Demanding & obeying belong to Will

just different functions of the psyche = mind.

  3. I think it's situated in the area known as the brain but it is located in another dimention..

  4. It is recognized that the mind is not just in the brain but in the entire body.  You might say that the mind is embodied.  The mind is a hierarchy of processes that include:

    1. the simple afferent and efferent electrical impulses that move between the brain and organs, including reflexes.

    2. the proprioceptive awareness

    3. the body image and body schema

    4. the collection of intermodal processes that include memory, communication abilities, visual imaging in the mind, and the self with its continuum of socialized morphologies, and other processes.

Some of these processes are automatic and don't require any conscious effort to use them.  Some are totally at the conscious level and require active control.  Some seem to be in both levels.

In other words the mind is not located in one place, nor just in the brain, nor is it a completely conscious thing, nor is it a monolithic thing.

That said, it is very much an integrated collection of physical processes.  And, in spite of some silly new age science, there is no indication that the mind is dependent upon some quantum phenomenon.

If you want to learn more, read Shaun Gallagher's book "How the Body Shapes the Mind".  The book is very technical and is a hard read but it is extremely helpful.

  5. I think that there are different sections for different things...like part of it for long term memory ..another part for short term memory..another part for emotions..another part for different kinds of love...another part for creativity..another part for Math & Science...another part for receiving paranormal visions etc....(I'm not a scientist....I'm just guessing...but this seems possible to me.)

  6. i rekon the mind is in the front of the brain, the thinking and solving problems is on the back left and right sides.

  7. Gee, I wish people knew proper English...

    WTF?!

neway, what exactly are you alluding to when you say "your mind"? As in, your subconscious, your intuition, "following your heart"?

Your brain has many different parts, google it, maybe you'll figure out what part you're talking about.

If you mean your intuition, that's in your gut and your heart.

    (Figuratively, of course.)

  8. Your mind IS your brain.

  9. Dear Michele, just do not forget the heart, because the heart also belongs to mind, you see. Please, do never need a heart transpart, or else you will modify yourself. So, the mind is in our heart. Do you believe in it. I said what i said.

  10. frontal lobe
