I just loaned 300k from the bank. 100k goes to debt payment, 50k goes for other emergency expenses.

  1. Don't invest if you take loan from bank, warning!

Bonds are basically a chance for you to lend your money to the government or a company and you receive interest .

Now is not the good time to invest in bond when inflation rate are high, interest rates arise and the market value of your bond will falls, you might at loss.

If you really want to invest, l advise you better "NOT".

  2. Well the question is how much interest is the bank charging you for this loan? If you can not find a safe ( triple A rated) bond that is more than the interest the bank is charging you, you should pay back the 150k to the bank and not pay the high interest. If you find a bond paying more than the interest you have to pay, and it is triple A rated than sure, invest it in the bond!

  3. It is wise to invest in 8% bonds if you don't have other options

To my mind the best way to invest money is to invest in someone's business. It's safer and more profitable. I have invested in good business and now I am getting guaranteed 40% annual interest.

NOTE: I don't need your money.

I wish you success in your investments!

  4. If you borrowed 300k from the bank, and you only needed 1/2 of it why did you borrow so much?

Unless you have an immediate or near future need for the 150k.  Pay it back to the bank and not invest it since if you lose that money, you only dug yourself deeper into your own hole.
