Where oil filter in suzuki gs500 2005 model i brought used doesnt have owners manual

Also if any knows how many miles averege to ride before changing it will be great if you give me links to pics or a website that shows how to that will be great also

On the bottom of the engine there is a small round cover held on by 3  nuts, take then off and the filter is under it.
