Where on earth and who can teach me about satellite dish installation?

Just want to be able to instal and maintain my home dish without these pirates siphoning me out every time. Please give me reference or the right course to undertake. Here in East African we mostly use DSTV/Multichoice and GTV the ones I want to venture into. I have a decorder that uses C and U band or I don`t know what they both mean.
