    The tax code papers when measured comes to over 13 feet long.


  2. How many pages is it is a kind of stupid question.  How big is the type?  Printed it is about three inches thick and the regulations about three times that.  You can check out any part of the Internal Revenue Code, also known as Title 26 of the US Code on the link.

    The overall USA tax burden is about 1/3 of the GDP.  This is the lowest rate for western industrialized nations.

  3. The typically printed copy uses extremely tiny print.  The 2006 IRC edition had 9553 pages.  The Regs are another 5 tomes, each of which is the same size!
