  1. John B is correct.

  2. Two very wrong answers. There is no runway elevation measured but they do measure and compute the touch down zone elevation, TDZE, as the average elevation of the first 3000' feet from the threshold of each runway. If the runway is shorter than 3000' then they average the elevation of the first 1/3 of the runway. The airport elevation is measured at the geographical center of the airport.

  3. I take it your not a pilot, otherwise you could look at a airport diagram or A/FD for such info. Normally, I believe airport elevation is  measured at the highest point on the airport. Also there is TDZE or touchdown zone elevation which it the elevation at the touchdown points on the runway approx. 1000 feet from the threshold.

  4. In IAP's(Instrument Approach Procedures), there is a block at the top with the TDZE(Touch Down Zone Elevation) and Airport Elevation(On a sectional chart also). I would assume the airport elevation is the maximum height observed on the airport property. TDZE self explanatory...

edit: Airport Elevation- It is the elevation of the highest point on any of the runways of the airport.

TDZE is the HIGHEST, not average, in the first 3,000 feet of the landing surface. TDZE is indicated on the instrument approach procedure chart when straight-in landing minimums are authorized

Don't see how my original answer is very wrong.
