Where on the earth is the best place to go surfing?

i personally think Australia, the waves break very nicely there and are big on some spots, but not intimidatingly big...Australia is probably the best

Island of Oahu. Tropical, American, diverse surf spots for the beginner to the pro.

Costa Rica, hawaii, australia, and most of all ponce inlet in florida for beginners. California pipeline is quite fun too.

I dont surf but I allways hered Hawii or Australia.

This is a tough question unles you have been to a lot of places.  This are my favorite considering crowds, consistency, etc

US - Outer Banks, North Carolina, Manasquan, New Jersey, Trestles Area, San Clemente CA, Blacks Beach, Lajolla, CA

Huntington Beach CA, Pipeline, HI, Sunset Beach, HI

Australia -

Yallingulp, Western Australia, Middleton, South Australia, Cactus, South Australia, Anzec, South Australia

Bondi Beach, Eastern Australia, Byron Bay, Eastern Australia

Mexico - Todos Santos, Puerto Escondito, Playa Kandahar

Costa Rica - Ollies Point, Playa Langosta, Rivermouth

Peru - Pico Alto, Chicama, La Herradura
