  1. first decide on a style that you like and stay with it from start to finish. you can look a bike magazines to get so ideals. if you know anyone that has had this kind of work done ask them where they took their bike and if they was happy with the work done. If you plan on a do it your self project get a costume parts catalog for your type of bike.and a service manual. make sure you have all the parts needed to complete the changes you are doing before starting

  2. Do it yourself or find a trustworthy  independent shop.

    Check out these sites:

    http://www.cruisercustomizing.com/HondaS...

    http://www.sideroadcycles.com/

  3. I would do internet searches...try Ebay, Dennis Kirk..find the parts you like the best and do the work yourself. Nothing is more fulfilling than making your bike your own, on your own.

Dealerships will RAPE you.. they are going to do the same thing you are going to do...they are going to find your part on the web, order it..add an order fee on to the price.. then charge you some UNREAL labor charge to take off four bolts, remove the old handle bars amd put the new ones on.

Unless you are getting into the motor... do it yourself, locate the parts you like, order them, and put them on.  bolt on customizing parts are cake walk... and..you did it yourself.

  4. I would go to the nearest Honda Dealer cause they have the experience and the parts for the bike.

Motorcycle Customize Shops look down on Japanese bikes, they only want Harley's as their customers.

I know at least 3 local custom shops that totally refuse to work on any Japanese bikes.

I would avoid these places to save you the shame and embarrassment or anger of being told off or ridiculed by the custom shop owner
