Where or what site should I go to find an inmate ?

A friend just turned himself in and I think they transferred him to a different county , how could I find him via internet ?

For prison inmates go to that state's department of corrections website.  For counties, some have internet sites, others don't.  Just grab a phone and call the county jail and ask them.

If he just turned his self in then you should wait for him to contact you because just as fast as you find him he could be transferred again just as quick. Don't stress the answer will come soon enough good luck!
