where in puerto rico is it most hood like ghetto people told me it was san juan is that true

  1. Well San Juan has some bad 'ghetto' neighborhoods. But San Juan also has very nice rich & touristy neighborhoods. It is a big city, so that can be said about any city.

    All the housing projects (caserios) are bad areas. Lloren Torres is big one. La Perla in Old San Juan is a bad neighborhood. it is right next to El Morro. But dont worry about these places there are so many beautiful places in PR.


  2. La perla its in old san juan, but ppl there are PUERTORICANS! so they are people commited to make you feel welcome.

  3. Well Puerto rico is the smallest of the big antilles in the caribbean like evry  develop country it  has  ghettos  and  public  housing  but a Tourist is never encourage to visit those places...

    Like New York city and Miami and chicago...

    Old san Juan is a beautiful tourist safe area  to  walk and  shop..
