Where????????????

Question

All the talk of the KHL has me thinking. Besides the NHL , where in the world would you like to play hockey? Name the team,not just the country, and tell me why.

The OHL, for the Mississauga St. Michael's Majors. They're my favourite team. :)

Actually, I'd want to play for the Toronto St. Michael's Majors if they still existed and that dickwad Eugene Melnyk didn't buy and move them on me.

Besancon in Southern France, my grandpa's place of birth. Though the French league is not the same level as other European leagues like in Russia, Finland, Sweden and the Czech Republic, but would allow me to better understand my roots. (It helps that I have spoken French since birth) And hopefully I will get noticed by the National Team and play for them in the Olympics or at least the World Championships (this was a ? awhile back as ya'll may recall)

I hope you get to live that out Julie myself I've been to Suomi 2x (once in the summer, once in the winter) and it's an absolutely beautiful country.

If I could actually play ice hockey, besides the NHL, I'd love to play in the Deutsche Eishockey Liga!! [I watch a bunch of their games online and I'm German and can speak German, so it would be awesome.] I'd play for Die Fuchse![EV Duisburg] or Die Krefeld Pinguine..hehe=)

JULIE has my answer- Jokerit has always been my favorite European team. I was there in '94 during the lockout and saw some great names playing for them- Selanne, and Kurri to name a few.

I did play in Norway, and that experience was nice. Great country and wonderful people!

The University of Michigan of course. Yost Ice arena is just as sacred as any NHL arena. Probably more so than any existing one.

idk the name of the team but it's the one Larry Rucchin (Steve Rucchin's brother) played for in Italy.

Hockey, Italy, pasta, wine, cheese, chocolates, great weather, Italian men...oh and shoes! ..awwww heaven on earth!

This sounds stupid, but Jokerit in Finland. They are in the SM-liiga league. It's where my favorite player, Valtteri Filppula, started the major part of his career. It seems like a great organization, and it produced him! So yeah, Jokerit. And I also want to go to Finland one day, so why not play hockey while I'm there!:D

Jokerit - Finland.  They're a good team with an amazing history of players, and I like Scandinavia :)
