Question:

Where should I build my wind farm?

I don't mean as in which state or anything. I mean what conditions should I look out for when I'm building it. Like, should I be concerned about earthquakes? Should I decide what kind of land I should build it on? Should it be near something?

  1. Sturdy ground (take a look at what else has been built in the area or similar areas, buildings, cellphone towers etc)- be careful of earthquakes and other disaster zones.  You'd probably get the best wind somewhat near a shoreline but then you run the risk of damaging storms.  Do as much research as you possibly can obviously.

Good luck and thanks for helping to make the earth green.

  2. depends on where u live  usually out offshore at the tops of mountains of on wide open plains

  3. Someplace windy?

  4. u could go onto a seashore where seacurrents wont make storm!place like India in the west coast ! or where the chance of a hurricane is very low!!

  5. Chicago

  6. On a hill in a strong airflow .

or between two ridges where there is a strong concentrated flow of wind

  7. In the Midwest or in states like Kansas. I mean you obviously need to have areas.  Read the links.  And Good Luck

  8. I agree with the person who wrote you CHICAGO!

  9. A hill, or valley, or someplace flat.

Probably away from humans or animals.

Maybe near some transmission lines-that`s it! Under some giant transmission lines, where land is cheap, and humans and animals can`t live!
