I want a cockatiel but i'm not sure where to get it.

I looked in this ad, there was a good bird for a good cheap price but thats because there is no refunds if the bird dies. Not saying they are in bad healthe condition. But at the pet stores they are more expensive but have refunds. Which is better????

  1. from GOD

  2. from a breeder.

its good that you looked in the newspaper ads for a bird.  thats how i found my birds' breeder.  buying from a breeder is much better, and cheaper than a pet store.  the breeder can also answer any questions you have about taking care of your new bird, and birds from breeders are most likely hand tamed which makes then easier to train [and a lot more friendly too].

in my opinion, pet store ppl are clueless..  in my experience, they never have been able to answer any of my questions, and it seems like they just dont care about the animals.

hmm..  i think if you really wanted a bird, you wouldnt worry too much about the price more than the quality and care of how the bird was raised, and how it would be as your pet.  and you wouldnt even be thinking about having to refund it in the first place.

if you truely want a bird, then you want a bird.

there shouldnt be any question about that.

  3. Your not ready for a pet. First don't buy, adopt. Second your already planning its death. Do you have a cage, toys, and food for it? Do you have the money to take it to the vet? Do you have time daily to provide it with attention and cage cleaning?

  4. petfinder.com adopt a healthy one
