The last time I went on vacation, bought tickets on line, did quick check-in front of airport. Seats were listed on printout, but were not reserved and had to take what was left. Should I have checked in at airline counter to make sure seats are assigned.

  1. ofcourse, if u bought an on-line ticket nd ticket was confirmed then ur seats should definatly reserved on an airport counter.but dear I'll giv u one suggestion, if u book a ticket by any travel agency then u'll not face dis type of difficulty again.but look reliable IATA agency.I always buy my ticket from one IATA company in Chandigarh.which is one of the best nd reliable company nd I never face any difficulty.

  2. I check in online all the time, much easier, and quicker, and printing a boarding pass/selecting seats is easier.

But lately, I've been using the kiosks.  Usually when I get there an hour early to the airport, and go to the kiosk, the seat selections are still good.
