  2. you could substitute ground flax seed for the egg white, and organic, raw sugar for the granulated (white sugar is filtered through "char" which is ground animal bones, so its not vegan)  Just mix a couple of tablespoons of ground flax seed in a little warm water-cover it and let it "gel" for about 5 minutes, then use it the same as you would the egg whites.  Put some organic raw sugar in a blender and powder it-then use it the same as the granulated.  As for the rose petals, your best bet would be to get them from a friends garden, as ones from the florist would likely be treated with all sorts of chemicals.  Good luck!  (You can buy inexpensive rose bushes at most garden stores, then you would know they havent been sprayed with stuff)
