Paris and New Zealand are 2 very different places. NZ has a different culture to explore if you are not familiar with it, Paris is more historical with old buildings and museums. If you like scenery and uncrowded places definitely stay in NZ but if culture and fine things are top of your list then choose Paris :)

New Zealand, muchmore scenic, they have cool stuff like caves you can intertube in, Sutherland Falls, Abel Tasman National Park,  Kaori Forest, and Pancake Rocks.
