Where should I go camping in New England?

My Dad wanted to go camping, but I've never been camping before so I thought I could come here ask this question. O ya need to know what I need to bring also. Should i check out a book on plants at the library too? =3 thx~! PLZ ANSWER

maine or new hampshire

maine--you can choose between coastal camping or camping in the mountains. and lakes area lokking for moose

new hampshire--has the biggest mtns in the northeast--if you camp near the presidential range you can drive up mt washington plus countless easier hikes in the area

We've camped at Pittsfield State Park in Massachusetts.  It's beautiful, has a nice fishing pond, hiking trails.  It's located in the Berkshires, what a wonderful location.

Anywhere in Maine would be equally as beautiful.
