Where should I go for a 4 night tropical getaway?

I'm looking for a cheap all inclusive (doesn't have to be) in either Dominican Republic, Bahamas, Cancun, Aruba, Puerto Rico or St Maarten. I'm going alone and looking for a partyish vibe without many kids. So what do you think....where's a great hidden gem vacation place? Thanks!

Punta Cana in the D.R. or Cancun would be good choices for you , but you should also look at Jamaica . I have been to all those places and believe me , there is no party atmosphere like Jamaica . Well I will recommend the Mayan Riviera in the beautiful Caribbean.

This is the hidden gem that you're looking for, kids can have fun at the theme or fun parks..

I think that four days will not be sufficient to know everything if it will be much fun.

Try Nassau bahamas.  It's cheap, tropical, beautiful and close by.  It doesn't take long to get there because it's not far from florida.  The local food is fantastic.  We went to some cheap shack for food and it was the best snapper I ever had.  Also the jerk chicken is everywhere on the island.  And if you get board, you can always go down to the Bacardi Distillery and try some Rum cake.  It's a lot of fun....

First of, where would you be flying from? that makes a huge difference when it comes to price.  There are different markets, meaning if you are flying out of Newark you will have specials to some places that travelers from Miami won't have.  You should also keep in mind that you mentioned 4 days so you don't want to go too far and spend too much time traveling;  these two should narrow your search some.

Now, when it comes to cheap; Dominican Republic is always a winner with their all inclusive hotels.  The Caribbean is gorgeous and every Island has it's own individual charm, it would be hard to pick one.  In your case I would go by proximity and affordability.
