Where should I go for a nice dinner in London today?

Ok so money is not an object. I'm in Soho so anything close would be nice

Indigo or Axis Bar at One Alwych hotel.

Fantastic specials menu especially at Indigo restuarant. My favourite was pan fried queen scollops with bitter greens and apricot sorbet, caspatch of baby venison.  Took 3 hours over a nine course meal.  

Modern hotel. Great cocktails too.

China Tang Park Lane in the Dorchester its the best food in London

You don't mention where in London, or what your budget or cuisine preference is, so it's hard to recommend anywhere.

However, I would choose St Germain in Farringdon because their prix fixe menu is excellent value for money; they have a menu devoted to mojitos; and their food is consistently good.
