  1. Go to Northern Ireland. Much Nicer.

  2. Waterville Ring of Kerry - it has to be.  The best land and seascapes in whole of Ireland. Tour the Ring 114 miles of enchanting ruggedness and majestic beauty. June/July is summer so you will get the best of any weather anyway just to say no one comes to Ireland for Sunshine! this is not its best asset, the friendliness and the welcome you will get will overwhelm you.  The best and most sought after form of accomodation in Ireland is the Irish Homes stay Bed and Breakfasts averaging 35 euro pp sharing wih a superb breakfast to set you up for the day. Have a great time there. Anymore information on this just ask.

  3. The northern counties are cheaper than the republic owing to the currency exchange rates at the moment. Get yourself up to Co Derry and north Antrim. Travel through the Mournes and Sperrins. Visit the Fermanagh lakes - all excellent.

  4. Nowhere in Ireland is cheap or sunny/warm sorry. Wicklow is close to dublin but is still quiet and not as expensive. Dundrum (The biggest and best shopping centre in Europe) is 30 mins drive away. Whatever you do do not go to the West u will not be able to understand a word the say.

    hope I helped.

  5. It's a lovely country, just not cheap or warm.

  6. try www.culandoonhouse.com

  7. i'd actually recommend the West, its a lot cheaper than Dublin (and prettier and friendlier) and if u go into Connemara and Western Clare theres amazing scenery. Also theres plenty of small towns which are great if you want to see aspects of Ireland other than cosmopolitan cities. Galway is a a lovely place too (though i suppose i'm biased, being from there!). however i can't guarantee you the weather will be warm at any point during June or July because the weather is incredibly tempermental. The South of Ireland is lovely too especially Kerry and a lot of people love Cork ( i haven't really been there)

  8. It is often said you can experience four seasons in one day in Ireland. The fact is, if your looking for guaranteed nice weather Ireland is not the place for you. However, if your looking to experience something unique, Ireland could well be the answer.

For me you have two options, Glaway in the West of Ireland or Dingle in the South West of Ireland. Both are unique and offer a great insight into the Irish way of life. While nowhere in Ireland is cheap, anywhere outside of Dublin is cheaper if that helps. Why not rent a car and see more of the country on your way to these destinations?

  9. try galway

  10. Athlone

train links from Dublin city and

buses fom Dublin city and airport many times daily

    warm in june/july

    loads of b&bs

    and pubs

    and shops

    and restaurants

    all great

    all cheap

    on the Shannon

    but don't swim there

swim in L.Ree, up the road

    still in Athlone

    just in a different part

    a nicer part

what a lovely place it is

    very friendly people

and shows all Ireland in 24 hours

the nice ones in the day

then after 4am in the VERY centre(far away from the b&bs)

    drunks on the streets

    you should come

historical castle and other things if you like that

    OR

2 shopping centres and many other shops if you like that

    OR

magnificent lake nearby, get a cruiser for rent and dive off the edge if you like that

    I could go on forever

you'll just have to see for yourself

(btw, the website shows only a bit of true Athlone)

  11. I'l give ya a list of places to go and why:

Cork: The west side of Cork is the most picturesque with places such as Schull, Barleycove (holiday site), Gollen.

Nearer to the city and you have Blarney Catsle and in the East of Cork there is Trobolgan (another holiday place) and beaches such as Inch.

The city has loads to offer with jamacian acrobats performing often on a Saturday afternoon.

Kerry: Killarney has loads of shops, restaurants, pubs ans sweetshops

Dingle is one of the most beautiful places on Ireland with beches mountains and wild animals

Kerry is also home to the highest mountain in Ireland; Caruantwohill. There are other smaller peakes for family climbs.

There are many Islands off the coast of Kerry too which are great for visiting

The west of Ireland is great too with the Cliffs of Moher and Galway City and Galway County

If your looking for a shopping holiday go to Dublin because they have Dundrum shopping centre(biggest in Europe) and St.Stephens Greene shopping centre. They also have other small shops aswell

If you want castles there are castles in Blarney(Cork), Cashel(Tipperary) and Killkenny

Abbeyliex in Laois is also visited alot by tourists

The Burren in Co. Clare is a good walk too
