I would like to go somewhere new. Here is a list of resorts I have been to:

Brek

Crested Butte

Keystone

Steamboat

Telluride

Durango(Purgatory)

Angelfire

Red River

Please give me some new ideas, along with why you like that resort. Thanks for your time.

  1. well if your a casual snowboarder i would definitely recomend sunday river but if you like pipes rails and jumps i would recomend Mt. High

  2. Whistler. Award Winning Everything and Olympics are there in 2010. They got sick back country and terrain parks. Whistler has great partying too.

  3. Try going out east. I live in Indiana and I we dont have much around here but I went to Snowshoe West Virginia in December and it was very nice. Still nothing like keystone or breck but i still hada good time.

  4. Mammoth Mountain- consistently rated among the top 25 resorts in the United States. Being in California, the resort gets over 200 days of sunshine a year while still getting an average of 350 inches of snowfall.  2 years ago the resort got over 600 inches.  Access to the resort and town is relatively easy.  Also, the mountain has a a 3000 ft elevation change from 11000 to 8000 feet.  Probably what your interested in is the terrain park.  I know that a year or two ago the terrain parks in Mammoth were rated the best in the nation.  I am stoked about going in a couple weeks.  The place is awesome.
