  1. Weka Sailing club its well good!  Just ask at the sailing school!


  2. I would and did just go out in the bay. Calm days just go in the ocean and learn the basics.

    Start by flying a kite of similar design as the para sail that it  uses on the beach.

    If you really want to spend some cash, I am certain that there is a 'school' for that.

    Have fun, or get outta the water.
