Where should I go to meet new people in Phoenix, Arizona?

Be specific. I'm living in Tempe, Arizona right now and I'm 20 years old, but NOT currently in school (that's the problem, ya)?

If I'm not currently enrolled, can I still join clubs and programs at ASU or Rio Salado?

I'm sure that you have to be in the school to go to the school's programs. Why don't you go to a program that you enjoy at a local academy that you can sign up at or find some new people at your job?
