I have rarely dated and the people I like don't seem to like me and the people who like me I don't like. I'm not very good at dating, but is there hope? Is it pathetic for a girl to ask a guy out?

its not pathetic to ask a guy out --- as guys we really have NO idea if a lady is interested --- a smile and a friendly greeting are enough for us to think you are hopelessly in love with us so we really appreciate any assistance you can give us ---- as to where to go??? --- i really dont have any idea --- i like online a lot but then i am a lot older and more experienced (generally) in life and love ---- best wishes

No, it is not pathetic to ask a guy out. Just make it a casual remark, such as "Would you like to meet up for a coffee one day?" or I know this great new sushi place I have been wanting to try...would you like to check it out with me?...something like that does not sound pathetic at all.
