  1. You don't have to ground the sub woofer but you have to ground the amp, grounding the amp is easy you can ground it to the chassis, and make sure its bare metal your grounding it to not on top of any paint or other substances.

  4. If you think your sub should be grounded, you should leave the installation of a stereo system to someone who knows what they are doing.

    Your sub doesn't need a ground.  You should have a pair of speaker wires running from your amp to the sub.  A + and a - wire will attach to the terminals on the sub, and will also be attached to the + and - terminals on the amp.  

    Your amp will have to be grounded.  You can ground the amp anywhere there is bare metal.
