Where should I look for my wallet?

Question

I had my wallet with me when I went to the gas station to get a soft drink yesterday evening... I remember having it in my pocket all the way home. I let my 4 yr old son play outside while i sat in the back yard...Then I gave him a shower later on... I dont remember where I put my wallet... could have sworn they were in my pants pocket where I left them... Does anyone have any search suggestions.. because I have run out of places to look...

Re-trace your steps from the gas station on.  Start with the gas station as make sure you left there with it.  Search the car, anywhere you sat...all over the house!

the refrigerator, cup cabinet, kitchen counter

were you wearing a jacket or a shirt with a pocket?

the bathroom sink

the laundry basket (fell out of the pants and got dropped there or kicked under a dresser)

the couch cushions

the car--under your seat

After that we have to go the George Carlin route--you check the furnace, I'll check the cess pool, because if we don't, we cant say we looked 'everywhere'.

look in your pants again.  then look in the bathroom.
