Where should I make reservations for Disney World Dining plan for sit down dinners?

We have 2 adults and 3 boys ages 13, 10 and 8. They are more all american type food kinda boys. Nothing fussy or fancy. Atmosphere, they would be big on and of course the parents want decent food. I have heard some places are nothing special so I should book reservations. If you have suggestions for good food for the one stand up food court type please feel free to suggest those as well. We haven't been there before. We get one sit down, one snack and one food bar or quick lunch type place.

Thanks!

  1. Cinderella's Castle is an absolute must for sit down dinner, but considering the venue, I think it may "cost" as more than one sit down dinner!

  2. California Grill during the fireworks is awesome (but expensive).  Try Raglan Road in Downtown Disney for good food and atmosphere.

  3. Wolfgang Puck's is the second best place in disney world and well worth the cost even if you don't decide to use the mealplan at it. I must admit the castle is the BEST.

  4. Hi, biggest tip: read menus and review of restaurants both table service and quick service at www.allearsnet.com

and make reservations ASAP, table service books 180 days in advance and i called 3 months in advance and only got an afternoon 2pm dinner apt.

My favorite are:  Ohana at the Polynesian-food cooked on giant indoor grill and buffet brought to your table. 1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian -buffet w/ characters for breakfast. (you can eat at any resort). Animal Kingdom-quick service i like Flame Tree bbq. MGM i love Sci-Fi table service, sit in a "car" at a drive in. I also like at MGM the Prime Time 50s Cafe -great meatloaf.

Have fun, and i think all their food is amazing!!! good thing you got the dining plan.
