I want to start over. I cant decide if I should move within the US or outside of it. If I stay within the US I can prob find a job within my company, but if it's outside of the US I would have to find work and that could be a problem as I dont have a degree or anything that really sets me apart.

I am learning French!

The places I am thinking so far are somewhere in VA, FL or Canada...any suggestions? Here is my ideal place; close to the city, safe, unique but charming people, LOTS to do if I choose to, music and art scene, open-minded people. Is that too much to ask??!!

Thanks for your answers!!

  1. Sounds to me like you're describing SanAntonio, Texas....yep!

  2. Well, I've only been to England, Scotland, Germany, Canada, and Mexico outside of the US, and from what you describe what you want, all I can say is DON'T go to Germany or Mexico.  England fits your wants pretty well.  But the US city that popped in my mind as you described what you wanted was Portland, Oregon.  I don't know where you live now, but that city is pretty ideal for you (to what this description says).  But Canada is also awesome!  Toronto what what!  And they speak francais!

  3. ok either somewhere between San antonio, Austin, or Houston, Texas. or if it must be Florida then Somewhere near Orlando, FL. Maybe kissimmee or a community just outside city limits where your close but not THAT close (get what im saying) peaceful yet close enough to go and have fun inside the city.

aen935 is right about Toronto Canada its beautiful and really nice. Plus they do speak French, yup.

  4. CANADA!!!!!

  5. Key West, FL rocks.....
