Question:

Where should I open a checking account?

I just got my first job, paycheck, etc., and I am trying my best to figure out which bank would be most beneficial to my current financial situation. The problem is, there are so many options- too many! I am not looking for anything complex, or a place that's difficult to deal with- just somewhere that allows easy access, and minimum fees for me to deposit and maintain my money. Any advice is greatly appreciated!

  1. CHASE FREE CHECKING ACCOUNT.

THERE IS NO MONTHLY SERVICE FEE IF YOU DO DIRECT DEPOSIT OTHERWISE IT'S 6 DOLLARS. YOU EARN REWARDS WHEN YOU ENROLL YOUR CARD IN THE VISA EXTRAS PROGRAM.

    http://www.chase.com/ccp/index.jsp?pg_na...

THE EXTRA FEATURES ARE GREAT AND IT'S A $25 MINIMUM TO OPEN.

  2. take your "wants", and go to a bank near you.  ask them what they offer.  go to the next bank, and do the same.
