  1. Depending on how old you are, I'd put you at lock.  Your height is good for how light you are, and your weight means you could be a good jumper at #4 (#2 is normally a heavier lock so he'd get lifted by two props, rather than a prop and a flanker).

I'd take your age into consideration because If you're still in high school, you'll keep building muscle mass for another couple years and you'd keep up in weight with other locks.

If you are as heavy as you think you're going to get, that opens a few more questions.  If you don't really back your kicking ability or passing, but you're fast, I'd stick you on the wing.  If you're not as quick but have good hands and feet, I'd put you at fly half.  If you're quick and have good hands and feet, and can tackle, I'd put you at inside centre.

Anyway, best idea is to go to a couple of trainings and tell your coach to suggest a few things.  He'll quickly see what position you're best suited to and try you out.  The average rugby player changes positions 3 times before settling.  I personally still haven't settled, I play for two teams as a prop (both sides) and one team as a #8, this after 21 years of rugby.

  2. At that weight you have to be a back. It all really depends on your ball skills. Maybe 2nd five or Centre
