Where should I recycle used dead batteries?

I use Duracell 9v, AAA batteries I'm my wireless guitar and in ear monitoring systems. I hate to just throw them in the trash!

I live in Hawaii.

Most community trash facilities have an area to recycle batteries.

Radio Shack. You can also try natural foods stores. One in my area has a dead battery program.

Earth911 is a great site to find recycling facilities.  I do not know where in Hawaii you live.  In Honolulu, both Radio Shack and Best Buy recycle batteries.
