Where should I stop on my drive from Sydney to Brisbane?

I'm planning to take between one and two weeks to drive from Sydney to Brisbane, so I don't mind spending a couple of nights, or taking the scenic trip!

If your looking for coastal scenery take the old pacific highway. Nice places to stop are Byron Bay, Coff Harbours, Port Maquarie, Hawks Nest (Tea Gardens) and Forster.

Or take the Old England highway and stop in quant country towns. Armidale, Tamworth, Lismore and Mooree are nice :)
