Where should I study college? philippines or USA? pls help.?

ok, so i will be a senior in highschool this september. (supposedly 2nd year college in philippines)...we've been here for 4 years now and college is expensive.

if I apply for scholarship and let us say, i failed a couple subjects, what would happen?..like I dont want to think about the pressure and studying at the same time. Im not comfortable with that..

furthermore, If i just graduate here in some community or local colleges, im thinking that it would be better to go back home and enroll in universities so that my resume is more presentable when I comeback here...

I get good grades here and im planning to fail some subjects so that my parents would send me back home..=P

while, if I study in the philippines, atleast I can enroll to any top universities and I feel comfortable with my surroundings....

ehehe.. then after college, comeback to the US..

what are the disadvantages and advantages??

If you are only looking a community colleges in the US (not that great of reputation), then I think you should go back to the Philippines.  The final qualification would be the same +/- and the Philippines is more fun and relaxed than the US.

You better take the University of the Philippines College Admission Test (UPCAT) next August.  So that by when you graduate there you can study here.  I am sure you will pass this examination.  It is advisable to study here in the Philippines.  The tuition is less expensive here.  You can work part-tme here or you can start now saving money for your schooling here.

Just focus on your studies.  Do everything you can so as not to drop or fail any subject(s) there.  All you need is TIME MANAGEMENT.

study in the philippines, cheaper.  work in the US, get paid in dollars!

I agree with Farina. Some courses of studies aren't offered in the Philippines. I don't know about now but when I was in college there they didn't offer Forensics/ Forensic Science. I suggest you go and figure out the course you want to take up then check out the schools you wanna go to if they offer it.

People in the US and even other Asian countries study in the Phils for college.........it's just less expensive but you still learn the same things.....1 of my relations flew to the Phils to study business, and 2 others are on their way there for the same purpose. Now, it will also depend what YOU want to study. There are some courses not available in the Phils. Good luck.
