I'm planning on taking him out to dinner, during the weekend (lunch or dinner?) and I would like some good suggestions. 17 is a big year and I'd like to take him to a nice, artistic unique restaurant. Italian, French, Mediterraneann anything international really with a nice atmosphere. It should be a place where dress/black tie attire won't be out of place. Any suggestions? In the Dallas, TX area.

they have a 3 course dinner for two $69

  2. One of my favorite places to go for nice occasions with my family is Maggiano's. They have AMAZING Italian food that definitely won't disappointand the atmosphere is great. I think it would be perfect for your boyfriends 17th birthday. Hope this helps!

  3. If you really want an exquisite dining experience, make reservations at the Mansion and be sure to tell them that it is his 17th birthday.

  4. There's a really good Italian restaurant called Don Camillo's across from NCTC in Corinth. Going south on 35E, take the Corinth Pkwy exit, turn left at the light, then left again across the bridge, then right on Corinth st. It'll be on your left. It's easy on the wallet too. There's also Giuseppe's on Locust just north of the square. Pricey, but I've heard (I've yet to eat there) the food is very good.

  10. You can go to Antare's @ Reunion Tower, or if in Addison, go to Lawry's Prime Rib or Del Frisco's. However, be prepared to be carded if you decide to order adult beverages.

  11. His parents' house.  I'm sure they'd love to see him in a black tie attire for a meal.

  12. Well I'm not sure of any specific place but all the places north of downtown Dallas area really nice places.  There is this one restaurant that you two could go to called Cretia's.  It's off of HWY 75 - mckinny...I'm trying to think ....It's by Cole Park...

    Ok I found it:

Cretia's on McKinney. 4438 McKinney Avenue. Dallas, TX 75205. Telephone: 214-252-9300

.  I used to work there.  It's real nice.  Good food.  Small, but weekend nights they turn the entire restaurant in to a lounge.  They have a VIP room that is pricey to get into.  Check it out before you make your decision.

    Here is their website:
