Where should I take my friends from out of town? I live on the Upper West Side in Manhattan.?

I want to take them to a place to get drinks. Which bars are good? I was thinking the Blue Donkey Bar or Dive 75, but I'm not sure. I've lived here a while, but I haven't been to any bars on Amsterdam even though there are tons.
