Where should I take my mom for mother's day in the San Fernando Valley?

Cheesecake Factory, Maggiano's, Macaroni Grill (that's where my bf is taking his mom)... for something diffferent... there's the 94th Aero Squadron Restaurant over by the Van Nuys airport... you can sit by the window and watch the planes take off and land, and they have a sunday brunch buffet. I would try to get in touch with them ASAP. They might have special pricing on Mother Day and require reservations or advance payment. Or both. Here's their website:

The valley is pretty big... if you want to include Burbank there's always Castaways, with a great view of the valley... again they might require advance reservations, etc.

I don't know San Fernando Valley so I can't really help you much, I just want to say that I think you are a lovely child who takes the time to think of a nice place to treat your mother on her special day! Why don't you check the yellow pages or the internet for restaurants...and have fun. I can almost see your mother feeling special!
