  1. I'd like to know that myself. :)

  2. Yeah, me too.  I live near Allentown.

  3. The Newtown/New Hope area.

    Trust me, it's the best!!

    Just watch our for dear...

  4. Your best bet is probably Wharton State Forrest, in New Jersey. You need to be away from lights to see the meteors, and that seems to be the closest place to get away from the lights. I am just looking at a map.

The area around Taunton Lakes, NJ may be OK, too.

    Regards,

    Dan

PS Let me know how you make out by email, please

  5. Head up to Henry Avenue, above Manayunk, around, Roxborough.  It's up where the Philly TV towers are, in fact, they're so tall, just follow their red blinking lights.  You will be very high, relative to downtown.

Walnut Lane Golf Course size will help kill down some of the light pollution and you might get a great show.

All that's assuming you live in the actual "Philadelphia, PA area".  If you're not too close to all that:

Get a blanket and a bottle of wine and head to Valley Forge Nat. Park.  What a *great* start gazing place.  It's out past King of Prussia mall.

    Take Care.
