Where should I work? In this shop, or that one?

Is it better if I work in a smaller newsagency type of shop? What about a large store, like KMart (Its something like Walmart).

What will training be like in KMart?

It depends on your main goal.  What is it that you are looking to do?

I have worked for large and small companies.  There are benefits to both.  It just depends on what you are looking to get out of the experience.

I would just work at home. There are tons of people making money on E-Bay to websites its pretty easy.

I would def. considerdoing the newsagency thing!

Speaking from experience, it is a dreadful thing when at the END of the day..when customers won't come out the store..then when they come in 15min before closing time and s***w up the item placement..you'll stay there for about an hour to PUT EVERTHING BACK IN PLACE..in SUCH A BIG STORE!

Small places are much better.  Always choose small stores, there are less people, no work  overload, etc.  

However, if you are looking for BENEFITS such as health insurance, investment opportunity and so forth, K-Mart is the answer!  Small places usually do not offer insurance, bonuses, overtime..etc.  

So it is in your hands!  If it is a PART TIME job that u are taking just to make a little pocket change..choose small stores.

If you are looking for a FULL TIME + OVERTIME +BENEFITS type of job..altho you will still get pocket change, you may get a better deal for your situation with a KMART job.

When you get older, ALWAYS search for a job with BENEFITS.  You are probably under ur parents insurance right now, but once you are off of it..do not search for a job lest they offer BENEFITS!  Ask if they have insurance, a 401K plan..ask it all.  Make sure to speak to ur mom or dad about what it is.

I suggest you start with a small newagency..they pay you about the same if not more than kmart..and if you don't need the benefits right now..it will always be in ur best interest to work in a smaller corporation!
