Where should a 22 year old girl stay in Algarve Portugal in august?

I am wanting to travel to algarve in august probably the 14th to 21st. i just want to lay by a pool or beach and have a relaxing time. i have never been to portugal and dont know if this is safe or if i will have fun.

does anyone have any suggestions as where i should stay and what i should do?

i am happy to lay by the pool all day but if there are some markets i would like to visit them.

They have trips to a market called Loulle on a saturday.

Look through Holiday-rentals.

Easyjet will fly you to Faro airport.

The transfer costs 35 euros.
