  1. well when he goes to college obviously he will have to be pre-med. he should just take courses in high school that focus on college prep. i mean you have to take all kinds of courses in college not just medical stuff its required so that he can be more well-rounded.

  2. shouldnt he be really good in math and stuff, let him watch some videos of heart sugeon's performing on patients and make sure he wants to do it, other than that when he gets into high school he has to take all the right classes, maybe go to votech, im not sure if its just a thing around here, but we can go to i guess this other school for part of the day and take classes on a bunch of special stuff like that that our school doesnt alredy offer, hum..idk what else, maybe you can call a hospital and see if they have any heart surgeons that are willing to talk to him about it and stuff, that'll be cool

  3. In high school he should study all the sciences and maths he can schedule.  He needs to make straight A's if he possibly can!  This way he can get into a good university to study pre-med.  After that he goes to medical school, and after that he does an intership and a residency at a teaching hospital.  He will probably take a turn working in just about every kind of medicine there is in the hospital:  emergency room, orthopedics, pediatrics, ob/gyn, plastic surgery, thoracic surgery -- they want him to see all the medical skills that are needed.  Then he can tell them which kind of surgery he wants to specialize in.  Then he does that for a couple of years.  At every stage he has to learn all that he can, because nobody can possibly learn every single thing there is to learn.

While he's still in high school, he'll have to take the basic courses that the school says he has to have to graduate, including English and history, things that don't necessarily teach him anything about heart surgery, but encourage him to make straight A's in those subjects too, because A's will help him get to medical school!
