Where should i go fishing??

my boyfriend loves to fish (for bass) and i want to take him today when he gets off of work as a surprise except i have no idea where to go! i live i central jersey.. any suggestions?

have his fishen stuff in the car and ask him where the best place to go

  If you live near a sporting goods store or fishing tackle store, why not check with them?  A river might have some bass as well as a pond or lake.

Ponds and deep lakes with weeds, along with slow-moving wide, deep rivers with dead spots where weeds grow are major hot spots, at least in PA and Canada, but there shouldn't be too much a difference since it's a species' preference. Use surface plugs, spinners, or live bait, but watch out for perch, bluegill, and pike! Pike will rip your line to shreds if you're not careful, while the others just eat worms and are very annoying.
