Where should i go for a weekend in Pennsylvania, Virginia or WV?

I live in MD, and want to go somewhere with 4-5 hrs. We would like to go fishing maybe, or something outdoorsy but not camping. I was thinking of staying on a lake or stream near some sort of attractions. I dont have any idea where to go. I just dont know what towns/areas are nice ........besides total tourist traps everyone has heard of.

West Virginia has nice white water rafting and horseback riding. Check out http://www.tripadvisor.com/ and you can see which places are the best.. I always take a look at that site before planning a trip. (: Good luck.

I live in WV and I strongly suggest it.  The small towns are known for being friendly and welcoming people, but don't have too many attractions.  The bigger towns can be crowded, but will probably have more attractions.  Decide which is best for you.  There's a lot to experience here.
